Irrigation Ministers meet to discuss Nile water agenda

Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul-Gheit will travel to Ethiopia on July 6 to discuss with his Ethiopian counterpart matters concerning water issues. The Egyptian ministries of foreign affairs, irrigation and foreign cooperation have been asked to coordinate the implementation of the agenda.
 
Hany Raslan, director of the Sudan and Nile Basin Department at the Al-Ahram Center for Political and Strategic Studies, stated in a recent interview with Almasry Alyoum that “it was unlikely that Sudan ‘s earlier reiteration decision to freeze its NBI membership would negatively affect Egypt “.
