Islamic parliamentarians emergency meeting, scheduled for May 10.

The agenda will include discussions concerning the serious repercussions of the Israeli Occupation Authorities’ decision to build new settlements in East Jerusalem .
People’s Assembly speaker, Dr. Fathi Sorour has agreed to attend a special parliamentary session of the Islamic Inter-Parliamentary Union (IIPU) scheduled to take place May 10, 2010
During his phone call with Turkish Parliament Speaker Mehmet Ali Sahin, Sorour suggested adding a clause in the meeting to discuss the annexation of several Palestinian mosques which were added to the list of Jewish heritage. They will also discuss excavations around Jerusalem ‘s Al-Aqsa Mosque.
