Local sources reported that the victim was transferred to Rafidia hospital in Nablus after he sustained second-degree burns in his neck, chest, face, shoulders and back as well as bruises all over his body as a result of the physical abuse.

The sources added that three settlers stopped their car near Bisharat as he was walking on a street close to his workplace in the settlement of Kiryat Shmona, where he has been working in an iron factory for 14 years, and beat him with batons until he lost his conscience before dragging him to another place and pouring  very hot liquid on his body.
