Dr. Saad Katatni, Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) Chairman, met with Chinese Ambassador Song Aiguo Monday (May 12) at the party’s Mansour Street HQ, where the Chinese ambassador affirmed China’s keen interest in consolidating the relationship between the two countries and increasing investment.
Ambassador Song Aiguo further extended an invitation to Dr. Katatni to visit China in June 2013 to encourage cooperation and experience exchange between the two countries and to learn the latest developments and activities in China.
For his part, Dr. Katatni welcomed the Chinese ambassador’s invitation, and stressed the FJP’s and Egypt’s keenness to boost cooperation and strengthen relations between the two countries in general.
He reaffirmed that Egypt is now on track to achieve political stability, increase foreign investment – particularly with China – and to establish industrial zones across Egypt.
