Katatni: Freedom and Justice Party Has Won Confidence of Egyptians in Four Major Elections
Speaking at a culture camp for Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) members in Qaliubiya province, Dr. Mohamed Saad Katatni, FJP Chairman, stressed that "FJP Membership is now 400,000 of whom only 100,000 are also Muslim Brotherhood members. This is a very positive point we are proud of, especially because it has not been long since the party was founded.
"The FJP won the confidence of the Egyptian people in all four democratic election contests we had over the past two years. The FJP studied the history of political parties around the world. None of them achieved results like the FJP has so far achieved in spite of persistent sabotage plots by those claiming patriotism while receiving foreign support."
Dr. Katatni explained that, in the upcoming elections, the FJP faces a big challenge to secure the majority in the House of Representatives, in order to form the next government, according to the new constitution.
