Katatni: No-one Has Right to Violence, Vandalism or Sabotage Under Any Justification
Dr. Mohamed Saad Katatni, Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) Chairman, said everyone had the right to commemorate the anniversary of the revolution in their own way – whether by demonstrating peacefully, which is a right guaranteed by the Constitution, or participating in positive development initiatives to serve the whole society, referring to the FJP’s "Together, We Build Egypt" public service campaign.
"Egyptians made the peaceful January 25 revolution in order to establish a State that protects freedoms and upholds the law. It is most unimaginable that some still want chaos and bloodshed."
On his Facebook page, Dr. Katatni stressed that no-one has the right to resort to violence or to sabotage State institutions and Egyptian citizens’ property under any justification.
