Katatni: Polls for MB’s New Party to Take Place Once It Is Established

Dr. Mohamed Saad Ketatni from the Muslim Brotherhood’s Executive Bureau and co-founder of "Freedom and Justice" has noted that the process of collecting the necessary signatures for establishing the party and all administrative and legal procedures is under way, pending amendments to the law related to parties and its new format which will be organized for partisan action.

In his first statement after being chosen by the MB’s Executive Bureau as the party’s co-founder, Ketatni has maintained that it is unnecessarily to be the party’s leader in the event of its establishment, explaining that his mission as a cofounder- according to remarks of the MB’s chairman – is to carry out the required legal and administrative procedures. According to the party’s bylaws, its institutions and structures will be conducted, including the post of party chairman after the party is given the requisite approvals.
