Khaled Hamza’s Temporary Detention Extended Two More Weeks

State Security Prosecution ordered the temporary detention of Ikhwanweb Chief Editor Khaled Hamza extended for 15 more days, along 10 other MB members.
The Prosecution has earlier ordered the release of Eng. Muhammad Sa’ad, one of Hamza collaegues detained in the same case, but he remains in custody till now. “We are looking forward to releasing Mr. Sa’ad within 24 hours” said Ahmad Abdul-Latif, lawyer of the 12 defendants.
Hamza and his fellows have been detained for almost month as part of wide campaign of arrests by the Egyptian regime against members and sympathizers of the Muslim Brotherhood in an attempt to undermine the group’s chances in the highly anticipated municipal elections on April 8th.
