Kharsina settlers seize Palestinian lands in Al-Khalil
A large number of Israeli settlers from Kharsina settlement, east of Al-Khalil city on Sunday morning took over a vast area of Palestinian citizens’ lands and planted some saplings under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces.
A Palestinian local source said that many Israeli students and teachers from the aforementioned settlement came to the Bak’ah area and planted young trees on lands owned by Palestinian citizens.
The source added that the Israeli troops who escorted the settlers prevented Palestinian citizens who own the lands and journalists from approaching the area.
The land owners believe that this provocative act is a prelude to annexing their land to the settlement of Kharsina.
