Mayors Threaten People to Prevent pro-Muslim Brotherhood Vote
Mayors Threaten People to Prevent pro-Muslim Brotherhood Vote
El-Menia ikhwan
El-Eadoaa district of el-Menia governorate witnessed a new infringement when the residents of el-Akleaa village woke up upon loud speakers. Sheikh Sh’baan, the undersecretary of the village’s mayor, used the loud speakers to urge people not to vote for the Muslim Brotherhood nominee, Muhammad Abdel Azeem. “Otherwise they will be arrested, according to the orders of Gamal Abdel Hafeez, the head of the State Security of el-Menia governorate!!”
The same incident occurred in many other villages of the same district. When people voiced their condemnation, the mayors of the villages said that they will be removed from power unless they follow the orders.
