MB and Opposition forces to run joint list in elections
A recent statement byMuslim Brotherhood deputy chairman Khairat Al-Shater has confirmed that the group has initially agreed in principle to run a joint list with other parties in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
The group has decided to run a collaborated list in the elections, scheduled to take place in six months,
During a press conference numerous opposition parties including The Wafd, Nasserist and Karama parties, issued a joint declaration calling for a series of democratic reforms.
Al-Shater told AFP that In the event there is an agreement on the final shape of the national list, there will be a shared political programme regardless of differences of opinion on the referendum adding that the group respected differing opinions.
