MB Delegation Congratulates Hamas on Prisoner Swap
A large delegation of Muslim Brotherhood (MB) leaders reached the Gaza strip Saturday to congratulate the Palestinian authorities and Hamas on its successful prisoner swap which took place under Egyptian supervision a fortnight ago.
The delegation including MB Vice Chairman, Dr. Gomaa Amin, and MB leaders Mohamed Wahdan and Dr. Hazem Farouk Mansour met with Hamas leader Dr.Mahmoud Al-Zahar.
On entering Gaza, Amin expressed his pleasure on entering the land which he described as the land of noble and courageous men.
Speaking to the Palestinian media he stated, “We were extremely happy on hearing that the Palestinian prisoners returned to their homes and families and we pray that the rest of the detainees will also be among their families in the very near future”.
“The MB is pleased with the swap and the success of the Palestinian resistance which illustrated that resistance is the way”, he added.
The agreement has taught faith and hard work is necessary in order to obtain what you want.
He expressed his thanks to the negotiating committee which proved to the world its capacity in negotiating, while teaching the Palestinian authority that resistance is the solution.
