MB denies accusations by The Groups’ writer
Seif al-Islam al Banna, son of Muslim Brotherhood founder Hassan al Banna rejected accusations by Wahid Hammed writer of the controversial TV series ‘The Group’. He denied having accused Hammed of heresy stressing that “What the magazine wrote was inaccurate".
The TV series is currently being aired on Egyptian satellite and attempts to portray the life story of the group’s founder and the MB since its inception to the current date.
Hammed filed a complaint to the attorney General alleging that he was labeled an infidel and enemy. According to al Banna’s family the series lacks accuracy and is a desperate attempt to defame the group which is widely popular.
