MB Detainees Moved to Tora Prison For Political Detainees

Egyptian authorities moved the Muslim Brotherhood detainees inlcuding Khayrat Al Shater, the group’s second deputy chairman, from Cairo’s Mahkoum prison to Torah farm prison which is designated for political detainees.
"The decision of moving the detainees to the farm may presage a longer-than-expected crackdown", warned a political observer, pointing out that this decision indicates that the government detentions may continue till not only after ratifying the regime’s constitutional amendments, but also after approving the scenario of Tawreeth (passing rule from Mubarak Sr. to Mubarak Jr.) which is expected to reach its peak during the coming months .
It is worth mentioning that the Egyptian authorities have been holding the MB detainees in the notorious prison of Mahkoum which is allocated for super-criminals, leading to a deteriorating health for some detainees, including Eng. Al Shater, the Muslim Brotherhood’s second deputy chairman.
