MB female activitists demonstrate what won’t kill you will make you stronger
With the ousting of the dictator Mubarak and the toppling of his tyrannical regime tribute must be given to the daughters, mothers, sisters and wives of members of the Muslim Brotherhood who undoubtedly engaged in unconditionally supporting their other halves who spent years behind bars simply for fighting for a cause.
A heartfelt article posted in Spiegel Online illustrates the feelings of those who relay many of the sentiments felt by the women who could be described as the unknown soldiers and the hidden strength behind the men if not physically then definitely emotionally.
Although the faces may be different their stories are all the same of defiance, and undeterred strength to continue in the paths of fighting for democracy by offering sacrifices and advocating the tolerance that Islam has ordered regardless of the obstacles placed before them.
The MB’s other halves have definitely demonstrated that despite daily struggles, difficulties and challenges there is bright dawn after the darkness of the night. The sisters the backbone of the Muslim Brotherhood have shown that through faith they were able to find the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.
