MB Lawyers Call For Probe into Israeli Crimes

MB Lawyers filed a report with the Egyptian Attorney General requesting him to carry out investigations into the war crimes committed by the Israeli occupation army throughout its last offensive in Gaza and their transferal to the Egyptian criminal court. The report includes 26 names of Israeli leaders, the most prominent of them who are Israeli PM Ehud Olmert, Defense Minister Ehud Barak, and Foreign Minister Tsipi Livni.
The report affirmed that the Israeli entity”s leaders are criminals and killers who intentionally and pre-determinatively killed more than 1,300 and caused wounds that resulted in the severing of body limbs, blindness, and permanent body distortions in thousands of victims. In addition, they killed animals and intentionally burned and destroyed public and private facilities, houses of worship, hospitals, schools, universities, ambulances and fire-fighting vans, and UN centers. All these crimes are punishable by articles 230, 235, 240, 241, 243, 252, 354, 355, 356, and 361 of the Penal Law based on article 151 of the Egyptian Constitution and the 4th Geneva Accords.
The lawyers further requested that the prosecution listen to the testimonies of the victims and those being treated in the Egyptian hospitals: Nasser institute, Maadi, Hilmiyyah Martial, Red Crescent, Palestine, El-Salam, El-Ismailiyya, and Al-Ahli Bank, and to those of the Egyptian doctors who went to Gaza to help the Palestinian doctors in treating the wounded; and to appoint a committee of Medical Professors specialized in legal medicine, especially the diseases resulting from phosphoric and internationally banned weapons to sign the medical exams of the wounded in the Egyptian hospitals and gather all their medical reports.
The lawyers also requested the issuing of an arrest warrant against these killers in case they enter the Egyptian lands, and putting their names on the wanted lists in all the Egyptian ports.
