MB leaders convene with the Nasserist Party in a fresh call for political reform initiative
The MB bloc has been busy meeting up with opposing political parties, trends and movements with the intentions of unifying national efforts to support political reform in Egypt
The agenda will entail numerous discussions and consultations on a number of issues of common interest in addition to proposals calling for the annulment of the state of emergency law which has continued for over 30 years, and a call for ensuring fair elections. The two groups will also discuss ways to combat corruption as a preliminary step for political reform
Dr. Ahmed Diab, Secretary General of the Muslim Brotherhood parliamentary bloc, and Ali Abdel-Fattah will accompany Dr Morsy during their meeting
