MB members of the parliament wish Egyptian Catholics a Merry Christmas
In a show of unity and goodwill, several MB members of the parliament offered their catholic brethrens their best wishes on the Christmas holiday.  Mr. Mahmoud Megahed, PM of El Mattaryah and Ein Shams district dispatched several representatives to join Catholics in his constituency their celebrations.  The warm reception and welcoming by priests in different churches reflected on the meanings of civil unity between Muslims and Christians, which is deeply rooted in the hearts of the MB and its Parliament Members in a sharp contrast to the assumptions made by others about potential maltreatment and discrimination against Copts.  In doing so, the MB are also implementing their program during the elections, which emphasized on the rights of Copts in Egypt and considering them partners in society who share the same fate with Muslims.  Moreover, as the law states, members of the parliament should represent all the different sectors of the society including Muslims and Christians.
