MB Minibus, 23 Detained In Mit Ghamr

Egyptian security forces still continue its fierce crackdown against supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood candidates running for the Shura Council midterm elections. A state security force seized on Friday at 10.30 a minibus following the Muslim Brotherhood candidate for Mit Ghamr Dr. Khaled Al Dib from the village of Abou Nabhan, Kafr Serenga and neighboring villages.
 
The security forces seized this seized this minibus with 23 MB supporters inside it before reaching the village of Beshla. The minibus and those arrested inside are still kept in Mit Ghamr police station .
 
In a related context, eight persons, who were detained more than a week ago from villages and district of Mit Ghamr have been released.
The released persons are:
 
Imad Gouda from the village of Sahrajt Al-Kubra
Ibrahim Abou Al Kheir from the village of Sahrajt Al-Kubra,
Hatem Fawzi from Bandar Mit Ghamr
Mohamed Samir Abu Hussein from Bandar Mit Ghamr
Metwalli Hegazi,
in addition to three others from the village of Olela.
