MB Not to Join Protestors on Friday

Calling on all to end sit-in protests the Muslim Brotherhood’s Freedom and Justice Party Secretary General Dr. Saad Katatny stated that the group has no intentions to participate in the upcoming protest billed the Friday of Stability this week.
He stressed patience is the key to stability in the immediate future stressing that the new government has announced a clear and specific vision to meet the legitimate demands of the people referring to the issue of prosecuting corrupt officials and officers accused of killing protestors during the January Revolution.
Katatny maintained that the atmosphere in Tahrir Square which has come to be the epicentre of the Revolution needs to be calm and focus on channelling Egypt towards stability, progress and development warning that Tahrir’s continued sit-ins could distort its image of being effective and having an impact on demands.
