MB Parliamentary Bloc Wishes Christians Merry Christmas, Stress on Principle of Citizenship
A number of the Muslim Brotherhood’s parliamentary bloc members felicitated Coptic brothers on the occasion of their feast, and the MB members stressed on the group’s belief in the principle of citizenship.
MP Taimour Abdul Ghani congratulated Christians within his constituency and visited their churches to shares with them their happiness; he visited all his constituency’s churches starting with congratulating the Christians in his village, Al-Baqqashin, topped by priest Angeles who confirmed that this congratulation expresses the deep and continuous love among Muslims and Christians; then, he visited Abd Al-Sayed”s village where he congratulated all those in the church, topped by priest Andraos who welcomed Taimour Abdul Ghani, and confirmed the happiness of Muslims and Christians during their close feasts.
After that, he visited the church of the village of Shabalanga, where he congratulated all those in the church, topped by priest Paulus Gamil Banoub who gave the MP the Bible as present after he demanded it; then, he visited the villages of Kafr Atallah and Kafr Salib, and visited some the families in their houses as they asked him for a meeting to present their demands in the constituency and to show their attitude towards the new constitutional amendments.
Also, MP Ali Fath Al Bab spent the glorious Christmas Eve with the Copts in Helwan and 15th May regions, where the MP, accompanied by an MB delegation from Helwan, visited the church of 15 May city and congratulated the Copts on their feast; then, he went to the church of Helwan, where Abba Pacenty was holding a Christmas Mass and the MP congratulated them on the religious occasion.
