MB Spokesman Optimistic About Meeting Revolution’s Demands

Media spokesman for the Muslim Brotherhood, Dr. Mahmoud Ghazlan, stated that to date a number of the revolution’s demands have been met although others remain to be achieved.
He stressed that following the stand in Tahrir, PM Sharaf and his government have realized the people’s demands and are working on it, adding that both the PM and the SCAF have issued statements to the people confirming that they are hoping to solve the crisis.
In his statement, Sharaf promised the reshuffling of the cabinet and the dismissal of all police officials on trial for killing protestors during the January 25 revolution. SCAF also demonstrated that it is taking strides to meet the people’s demands in cleansing the country of any and all corrupt former regime officials.
According to Ghozlan, who spoke to Ikhwanweb, the people will be appeased once there is news of the ousted Mubarak being transferred to the Tora Prison Hospital rather than remaining in custody in the Red Sea Resort hospital in Sharm el Sheik. Other demands include the accountability of judges responsible for the countless rigging of elections and the purging of corrupt university heads.
He emphasized in order to comfort the people especially the families of martyrs, immediate action must be taken against all responsible.
