MB Wishes Copts Happy Easter

Mr. Mohamed Mahdi Akef, Chairman of the Muslim Brotherhood, expressed his warmest and kindest greetings to Pop Shenouda III and the Copts in Egypt and throughout the world during their celebration of the Easter Sunday yesterday.

Mr. Akef stressed on the strong bond between Muslims and Copts in Egypt, and emphasized the importance of strong and healthy relations between the two main components of Egyptian society.

Mr. Akef also took the opportunity to reiterate the MB staunch belief that Copts and Muslims are equal citizens who enjoy the same rights and have the same responsibilities.
