Mishaal condemns ongoing aggression on Lebanon, describes Israeli kidnap of Duwaik as

Khaled Mishaal, political bureau chief of the Hamas Movement, on Wednesday condemned the Israeli "savage" aggression on Lebanon, describing it as a war by proxy on behalf of the USA.
Mishaal said that the Israeli war on Lebanon went beyond the declared goal of freeing the two servicemen captured by the Lebanese Hizbullah fighters.
Mishaal’s statement was uttered during a meeting with Dr. Mustafa Othman, the advisor to the Sudanese president who is currently visiting Damascus.
A media statement issued by the Hamas Movement on Wednesday said that the three-hour meeting last night tackled latest developments in the region especially the "brutal war on Lebanon and Palestine".
It added that Mishaal also denounced the Israeli kidnap of Dr. Aziz Duwaik, the PLC speaker, describing it as "piracy" with the aim of pressuring Palestinian resistance factions into releasing the captured Israeli soldier for free and dealing a blow to the Palestinian political system after Hamas occupied a major role in it.
