Mohamed Bishr Offers Condolences on Coptic Pope Mother’s Passing
Dr. Mohamed Ali Bishr, leading member of both Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood and the Anti-Coup Pro-Legitimacy National Alliance and Minister of Local Development in President Morsi’s government, sent on Saturday a message of sincere condolences to pope Tawadros II – Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Episcopate – on the demise of his mother, who passed away on Friday.
Dr. Bishr’s message read: "I extend my sincere condolences to the Pope of the Egyptian Church Tawadros II on the sad departure of his mother".
Commenting on his condolence message to the Coptic church’s pope, Dr. Bishr said: "This is a humanitarian matter that deserves our deepest sympathy".
