Mubarak Accused of Accumulating Wealth in Arms Deals
According to judicial sources the ousted President Hosny Mubarak will be questioned over wealth acquired through arms deals by a military prosecutor.
Mubarak, his two sons and business tycoon Hussein Salem are also to face charges of killing protesters, illegally accumulating wealth and abuse of power.
During the last few weeks protesters have become impatient following reports suggesting the military rulers might grant Mubarak amnesty. The reports sparked a wave of criticism and calls for mass rallies to demand justice. This in turn prompted a quick denial from the military rulers
Speaking to Ikhwanweb the official explained in the event of any of the accused convicted and found guilty a sentence of 15 years is to be expected.
