Muslim Brotherhood’s Bishr Reiterates Commitment to Non-Violence

"These are criminal acts of violence", thus Mohamed Ali Bishr, Minister of Local Development in President Morsi’s government and member of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Shura Council, described the latest incidents (in southern Sinai and Heliopolis) which coup authorities announced Friday morning, and in which two soldiers are said to have died.
In a press statement, Bishr explained that the blood of all Egyptians is sacred, whether civilian or military.
He called on relevant authorities to properly and promptly investigate the incidents and bring the culprits to justice, to announce facts to public opinion, so as to expose these criminals, and not to make any rushed accusations without any evidence.
"We are committed to non-violence. It is our strategic choice which we will not abandon no matter what happens. We condemn all criminal acts in all forms and manifestations that lead to the shedding of blood of any Egyptian whatsoever."
