Muslim Brotherhood, Pro-Democracy National Alliance in Northern Egypt Slam Junta Negligence
The Muslim Brotherhood and the Anti-Coup Pro-Legitimacy National Alliance in Beheira have issued two separate statements denouncing a tragic accident on the highway Wednesday, in which more than 13 people were burnt to death, including several young students.
The Brotherhood statement said: "We mourn yet more deaths in a dear part of our homeland, Egypt, in a tragic accident, victims of a reckless coup, a ruthless junta who couldn’t care less for the homeland nor the people.
"We mourn the martyrs of Beheira governorate who passed due to the carelessness and inefficiency of a ruling junta regime in which no failing officials will have the courage or decency to resign no matter how many disasters they cause or tears Egyptians shed for the increasing number of their sons and daughters they bury every single day due to coup failure."
Separately, the National Alliance in Beheira issued its own statement on the same issue expressing sincere condolences and deep grief for the martyrs who died Wednesday as a result of negligence of the corrupt military government, which evidently despises Egyptians and cares nothing for their lives.
"This deadly spiral of fatal failures and repeated disasters is eating our beloved sons and daughters, claiming the lives of innocent people who committed no crime, whose only problem is that they are ruled over by a handful of failed generals."
