Muslim Brotherhood Calls on Egyptian Authorities To Follow Turkish Example

The Muslim Brotherhood welcomed Turkey’s decision to expel the Israeli ambassador and cutting of military ties with Israel over the country’s refusal to apologize for last year’s deadly raid on a Gaza-bound flotilla, which left 9 Turks among others dead.
Turkey had chosen to downgrade diplomatic ties to the level of second secretary and was suspending all military agreements signed between the former allies.
The MB commended the move, which demonstrated the elected Turkish government’s acknowledgement of the people’s will and demands. “The authorities in Egypt should take similar measures against the Israeli who launched an offensive on Egypt’s borders killing policemen and soldiers”, MB said.
