Muslim Brotherhood Condemns Attacks in Samara By US Troops

The Muslim Brotherhood expresses its strongest condemnation of the ongoing severe and barbaric attack against unarmed Iraqi civilians lead by US forces in collaboration with Iraqi soldiers. More than 1500 heavily armed soldiers and 50 lethal helicopters, according to US sources, invaded the city of Samara on March 17^th, 2006 killing tens and injuring hundreds of innocent Iraqi.

 

We hold the US troops fully responsible for these inhumane aggressions committed under the pretext of false allegations. We demand the immediate and swift withdrawal of all foreign troops from Iraq. We also call upon the Iraqi government to step forward and assume its full responsibility to protect the Iraqi people and not to give in to the US administration. We call on the Arab governments to quickly intervene in order to rescue the people of Iraq and offer them the aid they disparately need.

 

We pray to Allah to have mercy on the souls of those who were martyred and bestow a full recovery for the wounded.
