Dr. Mohamed Morsy, the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) Executive Bureau member, claimed in a statement to Ikhwanweb, that this despicable and shameful act of violence targeting innocent civilians is a clear violation of Islam. Our religion calls for preserving the sacredness of human life, such terrorising acts serve only the enemies of Muslims all over the world. We, the (Muslim Brotherhood) offer our condolences to the victims and their families and we anticipate that the offenders be brought to justice for swift punishment.
