Muslim Brotherhood Delegation to Visit Media Institutions, Highlight Official Discourse
In a press statement, Dr. Mahmoud Ghozlan, spokesman for the Muslim Brotherhood, said: "The group commissioned a delegation of its media workers to visit press and media institutions and personalities, to discuss all available options to help support media work and improve its professional performance to the highest standards.
"This is a measure of our determination and resolve to communicate with the media, clarify the picture and highlight the group’s positions, and also to remove any obstacles to obtaining accurate information, as well as build bridges of communication between the Muslim Brotherhood and the media, for the good of Egypt, its people and its renaissance."
The Brotherhood media delegation includes Mohamed Abdul Quddus, columnist and head of Journalists Syndicate; Walid Shalaby, media advisor to Brotherhood Chairman Badie; Dr. Murad Ali, media adviser to the Freedom and Justice Party; and Brotherhood media spokespersons Ahmed Aref, Yasser Mehrez and Gihad Al-Haddad.
