Muslim Brotherhood Slams Latest Death Sentences Against Kafr El-Sheikh Stadium Youths.
Every day, more unjust death sentences are issued against young Egyptians. We are in the midst of momentous and tragic changes in the history of the nation. The value of humans and humanity is diminishing. Concepts of dignity, honor, pride and self-esteem are eroded. Freedom is intimidated. The scales of justice are broken. We are facing a reality that will not pass without leaving a deep wound, a profound impact, throughout the homeland.
On Monday, the Military Appeals Court upheld the death sentence against seven citizens of the Kafr El-Sheikh Stadium court case. This is only one episode in a long series of unjust execution orders that have been issued recently.
The unleashing of military court extravagance in dealing death sentences without restraint or censure makes for a dangerous reality in which this brutal villain alone monopolizes crucial decision-making and moves inexorably towards the torching of the country, eliminating all remaining hope of building a fair-minded, patriotic and free nation, where justice rules.
This will push the whole homeland into a dangerous abyss, a fate from which it can be save only if all patriotic citizens assume their responsibilities and fulfill their roles. This begins with a wide-based popular revolution to uproot this traitorous criminal and his treacherous gang, so the homeland may recover from the tragic setback caused by the July 2013 treasonous military coup.
