Muslim Brotherhood Statement on Guidance Bureau Member Mohamed Elewa’s Arrest
The Muslim Brotherhood holds the criminal military coup regime fully responsible for the safety and the life of Dr. Mohamed Saad Elewa, member of the group’s Guidance Bureau, who was abducted by junta militias this afternoon and forcibly disappeared while on his way to a clinic for urgent treatment. He was critically ill after suffering a heart problem.
The group warns the coup regime of the consequences of these inhuman crimes against Egyptians and the Revolution’s parties and individuals.
The group asserts that the abduction and forced disappearance of five members of its Guidance Bureau will not stop its endeavors to liberate the homeland and achieve success for the Revolution.
