Muslim Scholars condemn the ruthless assassination of two sheikhs

The Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq condemned the assassination of two Muslim Scholars Sheikh Ihsan Abdellatf Eldawry, Imam and preacher of “Al-Rawi” mosque and spokerman of Iraq’s Scholar Council and Sheikh Mustafa Fawzi Hamdan in al-Fallujah city.
The association warned of the continued violence and called on the Iraqi people to unite against all manipulative plans which are being funded by foreign bodies using one segment of Iraqis to bring down the whole of Iraq.
The association asserted that Iraqis are facing complicated periods and circumstances where their scientists sand preachers are being unjustly targeted without any accountability amid Arab and international silence. Moreover thousands of innocent people and scientists are being mercilessly killed without any action being taken.
Sheikh Dawri died as a result of injuries due to the massive explosion which took place in front of Al-Rawi mosque, while Hamdan died after injuries from the explosion which took place on Wednesday July 28.
