Netanyahu in Washington next week, no meeting with Obama scheduled

NAZARETH, — Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu has said that he would head to the USA next Sunday on an official visit during which he would attend a conference for Jewish organizations.
He added in a meeting with his Likud party ministers on Sunday that he would meet with Joe Biden, the American vice president.
He added that a slated meeting with president Barack Obama was cancelled since the latter was scheduled to have an Asian tour on the same time of his visit.
Arab diplomatic sources said in Washington, meanwhile, that the American administration was trying to extend the time limit granted by the Arab League to Washington to find a solution to the Israeli settlement building in the occupied Palestinian land.
