New reports of health care negligence in Wadi-Al-Natron prison
Wadi-Al-Natron Prison administration in Egypt has continued its violation of human rights to imprisoned political detainees. Recent reports have disclosed that Abdul Aziz Aslan, a MB detainee, has been denied the appropriate health care in prison. The detainee suffers from a heart condition which has worsened due to negligence.
Aslan’s lawyer, Atef Gouda, relayed to “Ikhwanweb”, that the prison doctor was very disturbed about the health deterioration of Aslan and he informed the competent authorities of the situation.
Gouda submitted medical reports on Aslan’s health condition demanding his transfer to hospital to undergo treatment and necessary medical check ups.
Aslan was arrested and transferred to Wadi-Al-Natron Prison with four other members from the Brotherhood after the Ministry of Interior rejected the Prosecution’s release decision and re-ordered his arrest.
