Numbers rise with 5 detentions, 8 appeals and one release.
Prosecutors in Qena issued a detention order to five members of the Muslim Brotherhood movement who were arrested last week. State security raided their houses confiscating much of their personal belongings. The group was charged with the same host of accusations in which the public have become accustomed to hearing.
The detainees include:
Ahmed Ali Abady
Bahaa Nasr el-Deen
Hazem Abdul Dayem Hosny
Ahmed Abdul Fattah
Abdul Dayem Mohamed Mahmoud
On another note, defence lawyers submitted an appeal to the Prosecutor general for the unjust detention of eight members of the movement in Dakahleya. The arrested men include:

Amgad Alsalkawy
Ali Sayam
Alsayed Talaat
Abdallah Abdul Kader
Essam Abdul Hameed Sharaf el-Deen
Mohamed Abdul Aziz Imbaby
Ayman Abdul Hay Zoghbar
Related, the Criminal Court in Mansoura ordered the release of Dr Mohamed Yusef Head of the Neonatology Department at Menya Al-Nasr Hospital he is also a member of the Humane Relief Committee in the Doctors’ Syndicate.
