Opposition stages protest to escalating commodity prices
Protests organized by the Watan hurr ‘Free Country’ movement are scheduled for Monday objecting to price increases in front of the People’s Assembly in Cairo and the Chamber of Commerce in Alexandria. The protest will be the last in a series of demonstrations which were staged in rejection to the social and economic conditions facing Egypt today.
Other opposition movements including Kefaya, 6th April, and The Youth for Justice and Development will join the Protest under the motto “We are Hungry”. Protesters will be armed with spoons and empty dishes.
