Over 15-Mile Long Human-Chains Welcome Dr. Morsi in Gharbiya Province
The people of Tanta cordially welcomed Freedom and Justice Party and Muslim Brotherhood presidential nominee Mohamed Morsi with human chains that covered a distance of approximately 15 kilometers, starting from the freeway, through the village of Nafya and the city of Tanta, ending up at the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate, in which about 1000 citizens took part in support of their candidate.
Further, a rally was held in support of Dr. Morsi’s presidential bid, with thousands of people marching through the streets and roads of the city chanting slogans and carrying pictures and flags of the Brotherhood and its political wing, the FJP.
The marches also ended up at the Engineers Syndicate where the first event was held in support of Dr. Mohamed Morsi, in the province of Gharbiya.
Furthermore, in the Engineers Syndicate, Dr. Morsi met with business people and prominent community figures of the Gharbiya province including the area’s MPs as well as political and partisan leaders.
