Palestinian dies of Thalassemia after being barred from treatment

A 29-year-old Palestinian died in Gaza on Monday after suffering from Thalassemia and inability to travel abroad for treatment due to IOF siege of the Gaza Strip.

Medical sources said that Mohammed Jadul Haq sought treatment abroad but was denied access by the IUOF troops.

No medicine was available in the Strip for his diseases, the sources explained, adding that he became the 83rd victim of the IOF siege.

Hundreds of Gazans suffer chronic diseases and could not receive proper treatment due to absence of medication and due to the Israeli travel ban.
