Palestinian fighter killed in IOF missile shelling

A Palestinian fighter affiliated with the Salahuddin Brigades, the armed wing of the popular resistance committee, was killed on Wednesday morning when the IOF troops fired a land-to-land missile at a group of resistance fighters in Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip.
Medical sources told PIC correspondent that Amjad Abdul Dayem, 26, was killed in the shelling while four others were wounded.
They described the injuries of the four as moderate to serious, and added that the shelling targeted the group that was firing at Israeli targets near Gaza.
The IOF command acknowledged that five Palestinian locally made missiles had hit Zikim and Sderot settlement on Wednesday spreading panic among the inhabitants.
The Quds Brigades, the armed wing of Islamic Jihad Movement, declared responsibility for firing eight homemade missiles at Sderot in retaliation to Zionist crimes and in protest over American president George Bush”s visit to the region.
