Israeli occupation forces (IOF) shot at and wounded a Palestinian young man east of Beit Hanun town, north of the Gaza Strip, on Saturday.
Medical sources reported that Mohammed Abu Warda, in his twenties, was hit with several bullets in his feet and that he was hospitalized.
IOF troops earlier on Saturday advanced into eastern Gaza city amidst random firing and bulldozed cultivated land lots.
Local sources said that resistance fighters engaged an IOF unit at dawn east of Gaza.
Hebrew sources said that the soldiers spotted a Palestinian approaching the fence and fired at him.
IOF troops on Friday raided east of Rafah and Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip, and bulldozed Palestinian fields.
Local sources told the PIC reporter that resistance fighters fired three mortar shells at the invading unit and detonated an explosive device near one of the IOF armored vehicles.
