Palestinians in 1948 occupied Palestine demonstrate for release of prisoners

Palestinian citizens in 1948 occupied Palestine on Saturday demonstrated in front of the Israeli jail of Shatta demanding release of their prisoners.

A representative for the prisoners’ committee said that the sit-in was a message of support for the prisoners and their struggle against the Israeli prisons authority’s policy of repression and humiliation.

The rally is also a message to the human rights groups to assume their responsibility in following up the violations against those prisoners, he added
