Palestinians in Europe preparing for their 8th conference in Berlin
The Palestinians in Europe are making preparations for holding their eighth annual conference that will kick off within weeks in the German capital Berlin and highlight the issue of prisoners and the right of return.
Dr. Aziz Dweik, the speaker of the Palestinian legislative council, will be at the forefront of guests and prominent Palestinian figures attending the conference.
The conference will be held in the eighth of May under the slogan, “Our return is inevitable and freedom for our prisoners” with the participation of Palestinian delegations from across the European continent.
The annual event will pull crowds of thousands of people from Europe and across the world including politicians, academics, activists and NGOs gathering during the anniversary of the Nakba (catastrophe) in a strong show of support for the Palestinian people and their cause.
The event, organized by the secretariat of the conference itself as well as the UK-based Palestinian return center and the Palestinian assembly in Germany, is getting wide publicity and will be covered by different Arab and international media.
