Palestinians send humanitarian aid to Lebanese people

In a symbolic gesture reflecting affinity between the two peoples, Palestinians collected donations to send to their brothers and sisters in Lebanon despite the worsening situation in Palestine.

A convoy of 20 lorries loaded with food and medicine and cash donations of about 250 thousand dollars left Palestine on Wednesday on its way to Lebanon through Jordan.

Organizers of the campaign for this emergency aid said that the campaign was prompted by the worsening humanitarian situation in Lebanon where there is critical shortage of food and medicine as a result of the Israeli onslaught on Lebanon.
