Phenomenon Of Sexual Harassment Needs Taking Stance, Says MB MP

Hisham Al Qadi (member of the parliamentary bloc of the Muslim Brotherhood) has filed an urgent request to Dr. Ahmed Nazif (Prime Minister) and Major General Habib el-Adli (Interior Minister), on the recurrence of the phenomenon of sexual harassment in the Egyptian street recently, and how it could threaten the security of citizens.
Al Qadi revealed that this phenomenon is not consistent with the values and principles of Egyptian society at all; pointing out that it is unprecedented phenomenon in Egyptian society, which has a full respect for women.
Al Qadi wondered: “Where is the role of the security men in such phenomena that threaten the Egyptian society? Where is the role of the government in dealing with this problem in all its aspects? What are the actions taken to prevent the recurrence of this phenomenon?”
