PLC lauds Bahraini parliament draft law on banning normalization with Israel
The chairmanship of the Palestinian legislative council has hailed the Bahraini parliament for issuing a draft law banning all kinds of normalization with Israel and punishing violators with 10 years in jail.
The PLC said in a statement on Wednesday that other Arab and Islamic parliaments should follow suit and champion absolute boycott of the "Zionist entity".
It noted that the boycott is particularly necessary in light of the Israeli judaization attempts and existential threats to the Aqsa Mosque and occupied Jerusalem in addition to the tightened siege on the Gaza Strip.
The PLC hoped that the Bahraini step would lead to effective roles on the part of Arab and Islamic parliaments to protect the Aqsa Mosque and Jerusalem in face of Zionist attacks.
