PLC warns of the seriousness of the underground metro in OJ
GAZA, The Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) chairmanship on Wednesday warned of the seriousness of the Israeli project to build an underground metro that would run from western to eastern Jerusalem.
The PLC in a statement said that it was concerned over the news report since it fell in line with the Israeli occupation authority’s (IOA) attempts to change the landmarks of the occupied holy city.
It added that the IOA was racing against time to judaize occupied Jerusalem after distorting its Arab and Islamic identity.
The PLC said that the underground metro would allow the transfer of thousands of Jews within minutes into the vicinity of the Aqsa Mosque.
It urged the Palestinian forces to immediately end differences and draw plans to rescue the holy city and the Aqsa Mosque, and called on the OIC and the Arab League to meet the soonest to discuss the Israeli threat.
