Political analysts: Muslim Brotherhood suitable model of moderate Islamists.

Dr Foad Alsaeed researcher at the National Research Centre asserted in a conference that the Muslim Brotherhood Movement and the Turkish Adala Party are an excellent example of moderate practicing Islamists.

In a conference Alsaeed asserted that “The Muslim Brotherhood’s ideologies and theories when put into practice within the group proved that the Movement could be an appropriate contender to act as intermediary between the Arab and Muslim world and other nations”. He continued that “Egypt’s leading Party has not reached the democratic maturity compared to Turkey where studies have indicated that true, free, fair and transparent elections and respect for judicial supervision have still yet to see the light”.

Dr Hassan Abo Taleb from the Ahram Academy for journalism revealed that Turkey’s noble attitude to past events namely the siege on Gaza by the Israeli occupation and it’s effective role in including Egypt as negotiator to help in the peace progress is an example of its distinguished and mature outlook with the philosophy of promoting peace and dialogue concentrating on maintaining civil rest.

Dr Packeenam Alsharkawy a Professor of Political studies Cairo University asserted that Turkey’s political reform should not only be studied but followed claiming that Turkey has proved that reform is possible where a positive role could be played in terms of mediator demonstrating that  real progress and reform is only possible if democracy is promoted and practiced.
